Visitors may want to take advantage of public transportation for safe driving. The Tuscaloosa Transit Authority has a Trolley system that currently operates only in the city of Tuscaloosa. Fixed route services include a V.A. Route, McKenzie Court Route, Holt Route, Greensboro Route, Shelton State Route and the University Shuttle. The Crimson Ride (University Shuttle) partners with the Tuscaloosa Transit Authority to shuttle students throughout the UA campus area. The 348-RIDE (7433) is a free transit service that will transport you between locations on campus or between nearby residences and campus.
